P.E.T.A M.I.L.F
This Mothers day PETA put a young heavily pregnant woman in a cage and displayed her in central london in the name of vegetarianism. PETA, like us all, do seem to love nakedness - however maybe they are using it a little too much. Look, remember this, oh and this, don't forget this, this, oh sorry and this, this, this, this, and of course this. Like we said lots and lots, without even mentioning this, and this.
We think they may have mistakenly employed a few ideas men from Nuts or ZOO magazine, or they are solely targeting horny burger eating, kebab scoffing red blooded males. Probably not the most likely bunch to turn veggie.
Anyhoot, if you would like to find out a little more info about the pregnant lady stunt READ HERE. Alternatively to have a sneaky perv on pictures of her naked see HERE.

Photoshop Magic
The above image was found on worth1000.com. It was the wining image in a competition to "Simply take any work of art and remove the character from the image, leaving their garments in place." Simple really!!
The site is for the Photoshop gods out there that can, at the click of a mouse, make anything look like, well, anything. Its amazing to see the true extent to what is possible with a little bit of Adobe know now. Things have really moved on from the days of MS Paint.
This image was taken from a competition entitled "Collectibles for Those Who Hate "Cute"
Its definitely worth a look, even if just to see some of the funny and ever so slightly scary images people have created. We're sure 90% of fake viral images like the one of a mans head being inserted where it shouldn't (come on we've all seen that one) started with a mouse click from the people on this site.
An Imaginative and very technically talented bunch, thanks to Craig Kind for the heads up.

People love Kittens!
BankWest (Australia) have now got a trio of little kittens to sing for your money.
A truly obscure way to advertise for a bank, but maybe that will be one of the factors that gets it passed around. However it is a struggle to hear the little fellows, there singing isn't exactly crystal clear.
Reminds me slightly of a singing cat we made a while back, but obviously ours was for an estate agents, much more relevant.
Check out our City Cat

Brief Safe
We don't trust hotel safes, if the staff all have access to the keys how are they "safe". Those pesky buggers are the ones that are most likely to rummage around and nick your holiday cash anyway. On a resent trip to Prague we both took to ingeniously hiding wads of cash in balled up socks, right there on the floor. However then we saw these bad boys, no one, and we mean no one is gonna touch these!!
"Items can be hidden right under their noses with these specially-designed briefs which contain a fly-accessed 4" x 10" secret compartment with Velcro closure and "special markings" on the lower rear portion."
Purchase a pair here, alternatively make your own, like we did.

"Scrappy" Chic
A few short weeks ago we had the pleasure of meeting Abi & Simon from WWAV Rapp Collins. We also had the pleasure of sharing a few drinks with them, and it wasn't long before we heard of their similar love of the weird and wonderful (which they rigorously, and beautifully, document in many a "scrappy").
We told Abi all about our unique souvenirs from a trip down under, and watched as she listened in awe of our findings. She made us promise not show them to her unless we were to give them as a gift - apparently to see and not to own them would just be too hard. Well, to keep and not to show is also difficult. So hold your noses and forget your ethics as here for the world (+ Simon & Abi) to see, we give you first look at the frog coin purse & kangaroo testis lighter holder. Lunch anyone?

Water Holograms
James saw something like this a while back when he was in Singapore. They are huge holograms that are projected on to a water mist. They can have colour and if done right look stunning. Maybe we could do one on the Thames one day!

Juan Francisco and his Biro
We haven't been able to find out much about this artsist. All we know is that both these amazing images are created with only one tool, the humble Biro.
We wondered if each was the result of a very long telephone doodle.
We love it when people create amazing things with such unexpected equipment.

Fragiles: Porcelain, Glass & Ceramics
Maxim Velcovsky's, "Little Joseph" is a very different type of candle holder, we assume as the wax builds up Little Joseph slowly grows hair. However when using white candles (as in this picture), some might think it looks like something entirely different.
Fragiles: Porcelain, Glass & Ceramics Exhibition at Design Miami.
A beautiful collection of little works of art for the home.

Running from Camera
A series of photographs with one thing in common, the photographer is running away.
Slightly odd, but they have something very intriguing about them, however it appears he runs a bit like a girl.

Milk
"Milk is spoiled when it starts to look like yogurt. Yogurt is spoiled when it starts to look like cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is spoiled when it starts to look like regular cheese. Regular cheese is nothing but spoiled milk anyway and can’t get any more spoiled than it is already. Cheddar cheese is spoiled when you think it is blue cheese."
Nice sentence or two from Will Work For Food, in response to best when used by.com. Its a funny little site that lets you enter all the best before dates of your food, then emails you the day before its due to be chucked. Pretty time wasting and useless if you ask me. The old sniff test has never failed us.

Fluorescent light tubes
Fluorescent light tubes powered by the electromagnetic field emitted from the overhead power lines. By Richard Box. Absolutely crazy, and very scary.

The Specialist
It's pleasant to think of just how much there is online for everyone, no matter what your specialist interest. Rate My Gasmask was designed to be a fun way to show your gasmask pictures and vote on your opinion of pictures submitted by other users of the website. Knock yourself out.
Another site with about the same level of intellectual substance, but offering at least a working page or two. Health & A Fishiency sells itself as a purveyor of the "richest and most natural of pleasures" - nude angling. It's also noteable for it's impressively low standard of photoshopped images, fantastic to see such little effort payed to detail.

Vomit live on air (don't play if eating)
"A Swedish television presenter took standards of professionalism to a new level after she vomited live on air but continued with the show.
Eva Nazemson was hosting a late night phone-in game show on TV4 Plus when she suddenly took ill.
As a male caller tried to solve a word puzzle, Nazemson quickly turned her head to one side and vomited.
She disappeared off screen for a few seconds but quickly reappeared to continue with the phone-in.
Most viewers no doubt suspected she was recovering from a heavy drinking session but Eva was quick to clarify the reason for her sudden sickness.
She said: “I'm having period pains and they can make you feel really sick.""
Sorry but we just thought you all had to see that, not nice at all.
