Urban camouflage

To combat a fear of crime in Japan, Ms. Tsukioka, a 29-year-old experimental fashion designer, has created numerous ways to disguise oneself to avoid being noticed - So you'll no longer need your unreliable pepper spray and taser combo. The vending machine design was inspired by a trick used by the ancient ninja, who cloaked themselves in black blankets at night. Check out this slide show for more pics.

Facebook

A video that should at least be pondered over..
Nice comment on youtube about it however "Did you know this guy who has a Facebook knows a guy who worked at this place that also employed this woman who had a cousin who drove to work with the devil? That means Facebook is owned by the devil. Fact."

Milk

"Milk is spoiled when it starts to look like yogurt. Yogurt is spoiled when it starts to look like cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is spoiled when it starts to look like regular cheese. Regular cheese is nothing but spoiled milk anyway and can’t get any more spoiled than it is already. Cheddar cheese is spoiled when you think it is blue cheese."
Nice sentence or two from Will Work For Food, in response to best when used by.com. Its a funny little site that lets you enter all the best before dates of your food, then emails you the day before its due to be chucked. Pretty time wasting and useless if you ask me. The old sniff test has never failed us.

Little Halloween gift from us

Let me know what you think, if it needs changes, if it works, if its crap, scary, funny, anoying etc before we send it out.

Nick Veasey

We found out about this guy while at BDH\TBWA, someone had left his mini book on our desk and it simply amazed us. If i can remember correctly from the book, this is the largest ever XRay.

Students today

Interesting video asking the relevance of some of the current teaching methods in Universities.
Are they really relevant to the way we live our lives today? Should we have ditched the chalkboard years ago? Has some nice Facebook stats.

Fluorescent light tubes

Fluorescent light tubes powered by the electromagnetic field emitted from the overhead power lines. By Richard Box. Absolutely crazy, and very scary.

Webchat with Andy Warhol

A conversation with Andy Warhol, contacted through a psychic with mediumistic abilities via webchat.
Intriguing stuff!!

The Specialist

It's pleasant to think of just how much there is online for everyone, no matter what your specialist interest. Rate My Gasmask was designed to be a fun way to show your gasmask pictures and vote on your opinion of pictures submitted by other users of the website. Knock yourself out.

Another site with about the same level of intellectual substance, but offering at least a working page or two. Health & A Fishiency sells itself as a purveyor of the "richest and most natural of pleasures" - nude angling. It's also noteable for it's impressively low standard of photoshopped images, fantastic to see such little effort payed to detail.

Back Up.

Its a crazy crazy world we live in!!

A Banksy in the bank.

This print (Kids on guns) was bought 3 years ago in a Brighton art store for £250, the other day it was sold at Sutherbys for around £150,000.

I know someone who has this print (Pulp Fiction) they bought from Santa's Ghetto in London about 5 years ago for £50, god knows what's its worth now! Any one have any ideas or want to re-mortgage their house for it?

Dispatched Logo

I have admired this logo for a while now.
Its simple, obvious, brash, obtrusive, but i think they are all why i love it so much. I like it for some of the same reasons i like the 2020 Olympics logo.

Simply, interesting navigation, however could get tedious.

Dave Werner

First you see the viral, then you see the site.

He seems to have the geek sheik down to a T. The videos on his site really give you a deep insight into the projects and something we are working on with our site. A great refreshing approach to a portfolio site.

53 O's with John Michael Boling

John Michael Boling's site is not too similar to the other site's I've looked at today.
Or yesterday.
In fact, it's pretty much on a different level. Weird though it is, I think I want to find out more.
Anyone care to join?

Mentos Gum Pop Art

An old Mento's ad, but a nice idea. It was followed by an exhibition and a website where you could make art works yourself (since gone offline).

Ad Mirror

Great site that shows similarities in advertising.

Puchi Puchi

puchipuchi_bubble_wrap.jpg
PUCHI PUCHI is a hendheld electronic toy that, when squeezed, makes this bubblewrap popping sound.
Funny:

“Once in every 100 squeezes of an air bubble, instead of emitting a “pop”, the noise will be replaced by the sound of a fart or a woman moaning in ecstasy. “
How’s that for a gift idea?!

Stop Time

Nice ad and dirt cheap to make.

"The viral film cost around 500 Euros. And took us three hours to shoot. It won a silver medal at the New York Festivals and a shortlist in Cannes.
Big idea beats big budget!"

Agency: GREY WORLDWIDE

Creative Directors: Florian Meimberg/Torsten Pollmann

Art Director: Franziska Scholz

Film Production: 30 SECONDS

TAJ Hotels - Ring/Heart

Just love the simplicity of the rings shadow.

We want to be Thoughtful

When asking Daniel Eatock how he wanted paying for the work he had done for Thoughtful he replied “Please give a £100 note to the first Big Issue seller you meet after withdrawing the note from the bank. Take his/her photo and email me a copy.”
We love both Eatock and Thoughtful for this gesture.
Sometimes in this industry people forget to be nice.

Josh Owen LLC

Salt n' Pepper pots and Time flys are just a few of the great little products on Josh Owen's site.
