Interesting, it never occured to me that a black page saves more energy, even though logically its obvious. Maybe energy providers and organisations such as Greenpeace should take up the idea of black web pages, I know I'll definately consider it if I come across and environmental brief.
Maybe green peace need to re-design their site.
